Gretchen Garry has spent the last decade with Union Square Hospitality Group, not only exemplifying its core values of Enlightened Hospitality but also working to sustain it.
Initially only planning to supplement her modern dance career, Gretchen took a job at Union Square Café as a reservationist. Finding her true calling in hospitality, Gretchen quickly rose to maître d' before eventually joining Tabla’s front of house team as a manager.
In 2010, Gretchen moved to the company’s Home Office as an Operations Manager. In this role, Gretchen has been working closely with the Chief People Officer to scale and maintain USHG’s culture during a period of rapid growth.
