Kate Payne has advised leaders building businesses for more than 20 years—both as an insider and as a consultant. Her gift for crafting simple, elegant solutions to seemingly intractable people problems makes her a trusted resource to clients and colleagues alike. An expert group facilitator, Kate leads HQ programming in the leadership curriculum and works with companies who wish to create cultures of hospitality by coaching their business leaders. She also frequently serves as a resource to groups needing to plan, make a change, or learn together successfully.

Kate’s approach emphasizes getting results through honest assessments of what is and isn’t working, crafting a clear vision for the future and setting a realistic and actionable plan to get there. Her broad practical experience includes talent management, leadership development, executive coaching, curriculum design, group facilitation, and M&A-related culture integration. She brings all these experiences to bear in serving our clients, as well as her own clarity and fluency in helping people work together toward common goals.

Kate’s academic credentials, grounded in a BS in psychology from Middlebury College and a MS in industrial/organizational psychology from Clemson University, are complemented by her extensive training from the Coaches Training Institute, certifications in personality and behavioral assessments.
