Creating Raves is our most comprehensive workshop, and is designed for leaders in any organization to think creatively about how to differentiate their business.
Take an in-depth look into Union Square Hospitality Group’s (USHG) culture and draw from our 30 years of experience to leverage hospitality as a powerful, transformative business strategy.
The concepts in our Creating Raves workshop are rooted in the idea that happy employees ultimately lead to happy customers – that by taking care of each other first, we can better take care of our customers and other stakeholders.
This workshop examines the inner workings of our company through behind-the-scenes tours of our restaurants, dining experiences, and discussions with USHG leadership, to illustrate how we implement the concepts of hospitality to create raves.
Our Client Advisors facilitate discussions that empower participants with actionable tools to build a foundation of trust that nurtures, develops, and inspires employees to create genuinely caring customer experiences.
The cost for this workshop is $3,950 per participant. This includes breakfast and lunch during full days, light refreshments throughout the program, as well as two evening dining experiences at USHG restaurants. Our Hiring for the 51% workshop provides leaders with strategies for integrating hospitality into an organization’s hiring process.
In this intensive full-day workshop, explore the practices used by Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) for more than 30 years to attract, hire, and retain excellent employees, and develop the tools you need to build a culture of hospitality from the inside out.
The people you choose to work at your organization have a key impact on crafting, growing, and sustaining a culture of hospitality. Our Client Advisors facilitate learning and discussion around recruiting strategies, behavioral-based interviewing (BBI) techniques, and onboarding processes that can be tailored to your organization’s unique values and goals.
Please note, this workshop is designed for participants who have completed our three-day Creating Raves workshop. If you are planning to attend a future Creating Raves workshop, you may add this class to your program as an optional fourth day. If you are an alum of a past Creating Raves workshop and wish to attend this full-day Hiring workshop, please call us directly to sign up.

Definitely! We encourage both individuals and small groups to attend.
Past attendees have commented that having a colleague attend a workshop with them can help facilitate the implementation of the concepts in their organization. So consider bringing a colleague along, and enjoy a 10% discount on both seats.
To keep groups balanced, we invite as many as four people per organization per session. If you have a larger group, we would be happy to set up a private workshop at your convenience or develop a customized solution to suit your specific needs.
Group Discount: If two or more members of the same company register for the same workshop, we offer a 10% discount for all members of your group.
Loyalty Discount: For companies that have previously sent participants to a workshop, we will extend a 10% discount for all new participants.

Group Workshops (excluding HQ On the Road) are held at the USHG Home Office in Union Square in New York City (24-32 Union Square East, between 15th and 16th Streets).
Customized workshops for larger groups are held at the site of your choosing.
Our office is located in Union Square in NYC–there are a wide range of hotels within walking distance. We are happy to share a list of nearby hotels by request.
Not a thing! We‘ll provide you with a pen, workbook, paper, and refreshments.
For half-day workshops, please wear whatever makes you most comfortable, from jeans to suits. For three-day workshops, please dress to visit our restaurants (business casual) and wear comfortable footwear that is suitable for walking and climbing some stairs.
Our agenda for the three-day workshop varies, but we guarantee that there will be breaks mid-morning and mid-afternoon each day, and lunch generally occurs between 12:30-1:30PM.
For half-day workshops, breaks typically happen half way through the program.
Three-day workshops include breakfast and lunch each day, and dinners are provided in our restaurants on the two evenings between program days. There will be light refreshments throughout the day as well.
We offer a light breakfast or afternoon snack for our half-day workshops.
