Multi-Day Leadership Development Workshop | $3,950

Creating Raves is our most comprehensive workshop, and is designed for leaders in any organization to think creatively about how to differentiate their business.

Take an in-depth look into Union Square Hospitality Group’s (USHG) culture and draw from our 30 years of experience to leverage hospitality as a powerful, transformative business strategy.

The concepts in our Creating Raves workshop are rooted in the idea that happy employees ultimately lead to happy customers – that by taking care of each other first, we can better take care of our customers and other stakeholders.

This workshop examines the inner workings of our company through behind-the-scenes tours of our restaurants, dining experiences, and discussions with USHG leadership, to illustrate how we implement the concepts of hospitality to create raves.

Our Client Advisors facilitate learning and discussion around recruiting strategies, behavioral-based interviewing (BBI) techniques, and onboarding processes that can be tailored to your organization’s unique values and goals.

Can individuals enroll in your group workshops?

Definitely! We encourage both individuals and small groups to attend.

Past attendees have commented that having a colleague attend a workshop with them can help facilitate the implementation of the concepts in their organization. So consider bringing a colleague along, and enjoy a 10% discount on both seats.

Can I bring a large group to a workshop?

To keep groups balanced, we invite as many as four people per organization per session. If you have a larger group, we would be happy to set up a private workshop at your convenience or develop a customized solution to suit your specific needs.

Do you offer discounts for multiple attendees?

We do!

Group Discount: If two or more members of the same company register for the same workshop, we offer a 10% discount for all members of your group.

Loyalty Discount: For companies that have previously sent participants to a workshop, we will extend a 10% discount for all new participants.

Where are the workshops held?

Group Workshops (excluding HQ On the Road) are held at the USHG Home Office in Union Square in New York City (24-32 Union Square East, between 15th and 16th Streets).

Customized workshops for larger groups are held at the site of your choosing.

I'm coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Our office is located in Union Square in NYC–there are a wide range of hotels within walking distance. We are happy to share a list of nearby hotels by request.

Do I need to bring anything?

Not a thing! We‘ll provide you with a pen, workbook, paper, and refreshments.

Is there a dress code?

For half-day workshops, please wear whatever makes you most comfortable, from jeans to suits. For three-day workshops, please dress to visit our restaurants (business casual) and wear comfortable footwear that is suitable for walking and climbing some stairs.

Are there any breaks?

Yes.

Our agenda for the three-day workshop varies, but we guarantee that there will be breaks mid-morning and mid-afternoon each day, and lunch generally occurs between 12:30-1:30PM.

For half-day workshops, breaks typically happen half way through the program.

Will there be food?

Three-day workshops include breakfast and lunch each day, and dinners are provided in our restaurants on the two evenings between program days. There will be light refreshments throughout the day as well.

We offer a light breakfast or afternoon snack for our half-day workshops.

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

We are happy to accommodate! Please let us know ahead of time so we can be sure to provide an appropriate option for you to enjoy.

What is your cancellation policy?

Should you need to change your plans, we are on your side! We’re happy to reschedule your visit. Please be on our side as well, and let us know as soon as you’re aware that you need to make a change. That way we can invite someone from our waiting list to join the class. Should we be unable to find another date that will work for you, we are happy to refund your enrollment fee by check.
